Animal Species In The Zoo

Barranquilla Zoo has over 500 animals of 140 species. 

All these animals represent the fauna of the African, Asian and American continents. Zoo emphasizes Colombian flora and fauna and is aimed at the conservation of native species in danger of extinction such as the manatee, the spectacled bear, otter, flamingos, eagles and a variety of primates. 

The Zoo will have the opportunity to know the interesting world of reptiles and amphibians in the Herpetario and delve into the mysterious nocturnal habitat.
